El equipo de bilinguismo quiere compartir con ustedes la publicación del programa Voluntarios a nivel nacional donde el Centro para la Formación Cafetera fue escogido como el centro del mes para compartir las experiencias que realizan las voluntarias Molly y Shakira junto con el equipo para seguir afianzando las habilidades comunicativas del idioma. En la publicación se resalta la labor de las voluntarias en la formación con los aprendices e instructores, SENA EMPRESA, etc.

This “coffee training center” in Manizales is dynamic, welcoming and one of a kind. This center is an alumni center that has hosted volunteachers since the beginning of the SENA partnership in 2014. Both center and volunteachers alike have reaped the benefits of this special place. The classes that volunteachers and co-teachers teach vary from bovine reproduction and agricultural business management to food processing and cacao harvesting.
One of the current volunteers at the center, Shakira, has been working alongside her Mentor, Andrea Duque Betancur, to film some of the field work her students have been doing while speaking in English. So far, she has had to opportunity to work one-on-one with the bovine reproduction group and learn how to milk cows and what it takes to work in the sector.
Andrea, the mentor, has been a wonderful support system for past and present volunteachers. She is a valued member of the volunteacher program team. We thank you for your hard work and commitment to our program over the years!
